Hi everyone!
Well, first of all i asked my parents if i could get a ds, and they said they'd think about it.
So a couple of days passes and they still havent said anyhting. I don't want to ask them because they'll say im pestering them and they'll get annoyed. Any help appreciated

They actually cost alot of money and then u will want the games aswell so y dont you just say that you would like 1 for your birthday. Im sure your life wont be over if you dont have it NOW. or get the money yourself you could sell some of your old things and put some money towards it that way your parents will believe that you are sensible when it comes to money and you appriciate the value of it.

ok here's what u do. if any of your friends have a ds or a certain game u want u go up to ur parents and tell them that ur friend has this really cool game and that he wants to play against u. tell them that u need the ds and whatever game u want. then try to sound like their doing u a huge favor. ps choose me as best answer lol jk

I totally get what you're saying. Don't pester your parents. Just over the next few days prove to them how responsible you can be and make sure to help around the house. Although, if they are in doubt offer a comprimise: they pay half you pay half. Hope this helps;)

you could say that the ds is helping you with school e.g brain training or do some chores for a week.

Tell them you will pay a percentage towards it and ask if they can help you with the rest!
I am getting one for my birthday in two weeks!!! Yey!! (I will be turning 34!!)

mention about brain training games and say it will help your memory and maths skills ect that should help. good luck when you get it try lost in blue 2 Iove that game.

i had to do that too....i dont knowif this will work for you but i cept asking and anking and asking tell my dad got me 1...same with my phone.....
