I want to make it really special! I ordered a bunch of scrapbooking book from the libary!

Getting the books from the library is a great idea. I also like to browse the books in the stores (like Michaels or JoAnn Fabrics) for ideas. You can buy little scrapbooking kits that provide templates, stickers, different edged scissors, and the album.
Some ideas - I've seen ones where each page is themed - maybe school or a special event or a holiday. They are then grouped together with stickers and color-appropriate background mats.
Be careful what you crop. A lot of scrapbooking beginners cut the pictures up so much that you only get faces left. Sometimes it's fun to see where you were or what people were wearing. In those cases, trim off the corners of the picture (maybe shape the picture into an oval or different sized squares for variety) and the pretty edged scissors can create different looks without sacrificing the picture size.
It can be really expensive if you go all-out with fancy papers and stickers, etc... that's why I definitely suggest getting a begginer all-inclusive kit. Then you can add anything extra to make the pages come alive.
Don't limit yourself just to pictures. I've seen people put all kinds of things in scrapbooks, which make it look super cool. Maybe ticket stubs from a concert or event, a specialty store's logo from a place you went to, or anything that reminds you of your friend and the fun times you had together.

If you've done things together and have ticket stubbs, or papers from the events, thoes are always great things to put in there.
Also even just little notes- remember that time X person did that crazy thing. Any little silly memories you can think of. Keep a note book and pencle handy so you can write down things you remember the two of you experiencing together. You can always draw little pictures or find clip art online that go along with each insident.
Try to think a little outside the box, photographs are a pretty no -brainer, its the little things, like the label of a favorite beverage, or a take out menu from some back-ally restarant you found together that will really make it unique.

I agree with the rest of guys and gals but just add a few of the family to I would get mostly the funny or happy ones as you want this to be her day also if she has a pet. Maybe draw little cartoons under the pictures, sayings you know stuff like that. I hope you both have a wonderful day on that day. have fun!

Take a bunch of photos that you have of each other and put them in the scrapbook with some colored paper as bordering/background.

Oh I love scrapbooking!!! Well make sure their are pictures of you and her in it but not just u and her put some pics of her other friends in it to!!!! and the rest well just have fun! good luck!

I made one of my friends a scrapbook for her birthday this year. what i did was i made it an ABC book. I took each letter of the alphabet and used a word or phrase to discribe my friend or a memeory we had. like for letter S i did Summer and then i had pictures from various summers.
you could aslo pick certin events likeand people in your friends life and make pages for each of them. Like a page of their pets. one of their family and such.

I did the same thing for my bestfriend once. What I did is I put our pictures together and used tickets and posters of films and concerts we see together, photos or paintings we each like ect. as background and decorated it with the things she loves like angels and little seashells. You should think of what she/he will like and your memories to make it personal. Good Luck!

i have a few ideas. fill in a couple of pages with picture's of you and her, but leave a few pages blank for you to fill in together with fun things that you will do in the future.
