I have people adding me because of my avatars. They don't know me, they don't answer my questions nor have I answered theirs, yet they seem to think that I'm worth adding. What does a guy from the computer section (no offense) want to do with me? That's just an example.

Yes that is "creepy" and annoying cause they do not have any idea about who you are at all
N the fact that we get added and offensive mailings all the time because of our avatar as well

Yeah that is annoying and also kind of creepy. I'm not sure if you are doing this but you could take them off and send them a note saying don't add me if you are going to answer my questions. I've done this before and it seemed to work.

I have that happening to me too! Random people out of nowhere just add me. I think it is pretty weird and I have also wondered what they want to do with me. My best guess is that my Q&A are private and some people can't stand that. lol Maybe it's the same for you.

Yeah, that's kind of weird. But if you don't want to attract those kind of people then you probably shouldn't have those kinds of avatars either.
