terrorists are people who plan and think of ways to systematically terrorize the community they are targeting. anyone who purposly directs their attacks at people who arent non- military members in the effect to create confusion and massive loss of life. soldiers have been know to hit the wrong taget but its much different. that wasnt their plan. In the rare cases that soldiers do this on purpose then they are terrorists too and thats why when we find out they go to prison. In the event that they attack military compounds like a base then thats not really a terrorist act but blowing up buildings like the twin towers is. however its a fine line isnt it? i mean in ww2 we purposely targeted civilian buildings in both japan and germany. just as the japanese did this to us. they attacked lots of non military buildings in hawaii but i dont think this was their main plan. however they did it. war sucks and the current group we are against will do anything to stop us but when one walks into a shopping mall strapped with dynamite and blows up everyone in there and there wasnt one soldier amongst them then i think that is a good definition of terrorism

I agree with nycguy.
A terrorist is someone who uses violence to make a political point.
The founders of the US would fit in this category(tarring and feathering tax collectors etc.).

I think a terrorist is someone who tries to attack and kill innocent people to get a "point" across to someone particularly someone in power.

a terrorist is someone that hates,maim and kills innocent people.they destroy property and tries to control people through fear.in general they are a bunch of cowards.
