Do you have a web page blocker activated on the Windows 2000 machine? If you can get some web pages on other pcs but not on the Windows 2000 one the problem is on the Win 2000 machine. It is not a Windows 2000 defect per se, but it may well be a configuration issue with Windows 2000 or Internet Explorer.

Check out the pc and see if you have a web site blocker installed on it.

Check in IE your tools/internet options/security, set all to default. Then in advanced click the default button.
