They've had some incredible players, but my choice would be Stan Musial. I like the fact that he played all 22 seasons with the same team, and he was an incredible player. I don't want to throw out too many numbers, but his BA and OPS numbers are amazing for such a long career, and I love the fact that he only struck out 699 times in almost 11,000 at-bats.
So many good choices on the Cards - Frisch, Hornsby, Big Mac, Pujols, Ozzie, Joe Medwick - they've got some seriously great history.

As a lifetime, die hard Cubs fan, this is not easy to answer, simply because just about everyone in a Cardinals uniform seemed to kill the Cubs when I was younger. As far as my favorite Cardinal, it would have to be Ozzie Smith. Back in the 80's, I would try to see the Cardinals when they came here to Chicago, and would get there early just to watch him take infield practice. Usually it was more exciting then the games.

Toss up...you have Stan the Man in the field and then you have Gibson on the mound! Both were amazing in their own way...I love Stan the Man though! His appearance on Homerun Derby was great!
