I can only tell you when I star. I star if I see a question one of my friends just has to see, or when you made me laugh, or when it is truly an intelligent or especially interesting one. and of course the ones who ask for it can have one too. always love to see if we can break the starring record :-))

I've noticed that anyone who simply asks for stars often gets them. So I suppose the answer here is to just ask for them.
