The more choice dates, so to speak, are the football players since they are the heroes of the homecoming dance. Some girls have expectations of being asked out by a football player and don't want to accept a date with someone else if they think that is possible. Timing is sort of everything. If you are a star on the football team you have it made. If you are not then you more or less have second choice. If a girl does not have a date with a football player she will usually be scurrying around for a date. You need to be scurrying at the same time.

Girls generally say "yes" or "no" to any date offer based on whether or not they think the guy is worth the time and energy it takes for a date. You can get a "yes" by being a genuinely good guy and being friendly to all kinds of girls, not just the prettiest and most popular.

If you are known as being kind, generous, and enjoyable to be around, you are more likely to meet up with girls who would like to spend more time with you. Take the time to really get to know people, to find out what matters to them; be a good listener and a good friend. That doesn't mean that every girl you will be interested will be interested in you. You need to be willing to ask other girls if you get turned down.

Good Luck.

we usually say no to events like that because its not big so its not as big of a deal to fly solo or just go wit a few of the girls. i mean its not a major mil stone in our school year such as prom or ring dance so we just chill out on dances like that PLUS here's the kicker girls usually don't wanna be held down for homecoming cuz everybody knows that's the wildest dance of the year so we just wanna be free........dance with whoever.......and do whatever so that's probably why you always get a no answer BUT if you just find a a real good girl that you can be just friends with then you could take her but my only Otha advice would be get a girlfriend that's always the easy way to always having a date lol okay hope this helps good luck!*!

They might already have a date, be holding out for a certain guy or plan on going solo with the girls. To get a "Yes", I think you should find a unique and romantic way of asking. Like, send a flower delivery (roses) and ask on the card.

Girls say no because they probably want someone besides you to take them. Ask her in an extravagent way. one year at my school a guy used plastic cups in the chain link fence to spell out "Christine! Homecoming? Zack." who can say no to that (especially when everyone in the school sees it as they pull into the parking lot)

Well maybe they have a date or just dont want to go! All you can do is go straight up to someone and ask them... not beating around the bush. and dont ask more than 2 people, youll seem desperate.

Maybe they have a boyfriend or a date or maybe they just want to be friends because they don't like you that way.It takes time for a relationship to grow.

they probably say no because they dont like the person that asking them...so ask a girl your pretty good friends with..or at least one you know well.
