Is it an attempt to rationalize your guilt feelings, knowing him (bush) to be catagorically and dangerously wrong on soooo many fronts.

For "I Miss Common Sense"
OK....I'll take the neo off the word and leave it as conservative, but garanteed I have as good a definition for it as you do of liberalism

They do it because they have no defense to offer against Bush and the boys....He will go down in history as the worst president our country has ever had.
Those who compare Clinton's shortcomings to Bushes criminal acts are missing a point. Clinton did not illegally invade a sovereign country, destroy that country's infrastructure, cause 2-3 million refugees, almost 1 million dead Iraqi's. Nor was Clinton responsible for almost 4000 young American soldiers deaths and tens of thousands severely wounded.
Clinton didn't cause any country to become such a chaotic atmosphere that thousands of misfits from all over the world are in Iraq doing their best with car bombs, suicide bombs and planning other terrorist activities.
Bush is psychologically unfit to lead - much less be president. He is an amoral liar and a sociopath who has taken our country so far down that it will take generations to recover.
He thinks he is and emperor or king and can do what he wants. He is about to find out he can't.
Any of you Bushies out there keeping up with the trail to "Contempt of Congress" action that will soon take place? In Bushes attempts to keep secret his activiteis and to prevent testimony and papers required by Congress, he is leading straight to the Supreme Court and impeachment. I can't wait for this criminal to get what he deserves.

because he is covering up the fact that he fooled the American people, by making us think he won the election. Then again when he blamed Saddam for the 9 11 attacks. Now he is trying to hide in the Mistake of the past president so that America can forget about Congress trying to inform us of the truth.
Since Bush has taken office he moved a lot of executive powers over to himself. This will soon change. He also was the president who left America hungry and cold. Hence why Canada responded to the Hurricane disaster before America. RIght after his mother said and this is qouted...
"eh they (the victums of the disaster) were a bunch of poor people any way."

Because Libs are on a witchhunt. Bush fired 11 prosecutors! EVIL! Clinton fired over 70, where was your fake outrage then?
Bush took us to war, EVIL! Clinton took us to Kosovo and saved the citizens from a ruthless dictator, why is that not a big deal?
Bush had information about 9/11 and did nothing! EVIL! While Clinton let Al Qaeda attack numerous American targets and barely did a thing to prevent further attacks.
Deal with the fact all fake rage you have are things Clinton himself did, the fact all this outrage is out there shows how well the liberal media has brainwashed you into believing Clinton did no wrong and the world was perfect from January 1993 to January 2001.

because of the fact bill Clinton is the suited purple herring whilst the Republicans have not got the character to confess their errors. regardless of if it truly is Bush or Hasbert or the Republican guy interior the Moon, they never admit whilst they are incorrect and that they are very practiced at pointing arms to deflect any blame from themselves. recently, it truly is risen to new heights over the phobia of dropping the two the abode and the Senate, which they richly should lose.

Well we could always bring up Johnson or carter but they're irrelevant now so clinton is the only one we can make a correlation with.
I being a conservative will agree that Bush has been wrong on many fronts but the war against global jihad is not one of those fronts.
He was wrong letting kennedy write the "no child left behind bill"
He was wrong supporting the liberal attempt to legalize 12 million criminals
He was wrong for not pushing harder for Social Security reform
He was wrong for not pushing harder to make his tax cuts permanent.
He's wrong on this North American free zone he's trying to put through right now.
He's wrong hosting Putin at his home since it's clear Putin wants to bring back the cold war.

All presidents are compared to past presidents. It's a common ground for political discussions. Why would it be wrong to compare one president to another? I wouldn't doubt if the next president is compared to our current president. That's just how it goes.

Its the double-sided sword thing. If you complain about Bush commuting Libby's sentence, then they can complain about Clinton pardonning a group of terrorists.

Because American politics has been reduced to the lesser of two extreme evils and anyone who supports either party has a very short memory.

Clinton is just a convenient "whipping boy" for those neocons who just don't want to admit that he was our best president in recent history. Under Clinton the deficit was wiped out; we had peace and prosperity that we had not had for decades; and there were plenty jobs to go around. Bush has managed in less than 8 years to completely reverse this.

It's because liberals overlooked ALL of Clinton's faults and STILL class him as the messiah of the Democratic party even though he cost them BOTH houses of Congress.
I think both major parties inhale. I wish they would BOTH quit griping about the short comings of the other side and correct their OWN problems before they go criticizing the other side.
If they BOTH worked as hard fixing the problems in their own party as they do griping about the other side this country would be in a lot better shape.
