My main drain line is broken, as told by F.H.Furr. Should I go with insurance? Is it covered generally? Thanks

Because the drain is under the drive way and it's possible that they will dig the drive way to fix the broken park. I think it may cost a lot. I wonder if this problem is generally covered by the insurance. I have the basic insurance.

I am assuming you are on a city sewer system? If so you may call the city and see if they will fix it.

In some places if it is under the sidewalk or closer to the street they will fix it free of charge.

You would need to read your policy or call the insurance company. I doubt it will be covered because it is outside your house and not caused by nature. Good luck.
