Scrapbooking is making and keeping a scrapbook. Stamping is using rubber stamps. You CAN use stamping in a scrapbook, but you can't use a scrapbook in stamping.

Lots of people (myself included) combine scrapbooking and stamping. I frequently stamp on my scrapbook pages. I also use both stamping and scrapbooking techniques when making cards. I find that I rarely stamp outside of scrapbooking, but that stamping is one of many embellishment techniques I use in my scrapbooks.

Stamping can be done on anything. I made a stamped mailbox. You can do it on any surface for home dec, jewelry, clothing, and yes, even in a scrapbook.
