life is overrated - what are you comparing it to?!! : )
Do you mean there are a lots of things in life that are overrated, i.e. champagne, caviar, lobster? If so, I agree. I was disappointed with sake too!!
To find meaning in our lives our lives should be purposeful, and avoid being materialistic. we should aim to be good, honorable people.

Life IS what you make it. Stop harping and start doing something to make your own life better. Whining about how much is sucks does absolutely nothing but depress you.
Stop whining and start taking control.
No, life isn't over rated.
