I bite my lip and realize that celebrities have too much influence over some people's lives.

A celebrity can change someone's life, quite a few have changed my life.
Art inspires and sometimes it can change a person's perspective on reality or instill values and philosophies on life that forever change a person. An artist can be qualified as a celebrity, authors too (Mark Twain for example was a big celebrity in his day) and even musical artists can influence one's life. My favorite band has been quite influential in my life (along with many other things, of course) and I can honestly say that just the presence of their music has changed my life. I have listened to their songs during rough parts of my life and they lyrics have comforted me. It has also helps me achieve a more healthy view on reality and myself.
But having Paris Hilton change a person's life? Aye... she proably has, but not in a good way. Paris can cause people to be more shallow then they were before.

Well, I don't think i would say that a certain celebrity has changed my life, But i definitely idolize a few... Audrey Hepburn and gene Kelly.. They were great actors of their time.. Now, I'm reading a book called Kiss me like a stranger, by Gene Wilder(the guy in willy wonka and the chocolate factory).. He was saying how certain actors changed his life, now that means it helped him decide what he wanted to do in life which was to become an actor.. To be influenced by someone in a positive way, is a good thing.. Yeah, if it was Paris Hilton or lindsney lohan, i would laugh and be like you're kidding me.. But inspirational people like mother Theresa and Gandhi can change people life in some way..

i guess if it;s opra or tye pennington that changed your life thats ok but some like lindsay lohan i would laugh out loud.
