Didn't you just do the same with your last comment. I consider my personal political views neither a help or hindrance. They are opinions. Furthermore I think we can learn allot more just by discussing views in an adult manner. One comment you got right is that many people act like children when they are faced with an opposing view point just because it is different does not mean it is wrong. I am a registered Republican will probably always vote that way because I tend to lean to the right with my views but I have to admit there are allot of good ideas coming from the Dems camp this time around. Just not enough to sway me. Bottom line be an adult listen and dialog and try not to resort to name calling that only shows your ignorance.

1. This question belong in the "Politics" section, not in "Law & Ethics".
2. The framers of the US constitution referred to Democracy as "The Tyranny of the Majority". They created a Representative Republic (not to be confused with the Republican party).
3. I consider my views to be a hindrance to DEMOCRACY, but not the the ideals of the US constitution.

Er, huh?
My personal views are my own. The very fact that I bother to think about politics is a help to democracy (small "d", not the Big D Democratic Party, please) because I am what you might call an informed voter.
Just so you know, "liberal" is a good thing. Liberal-minded is a good way to be. Most political liberals are not snotty elitists who resort to condescension in argument.
So come out of the 1990s, please, and turn the channel - FoxNews is so last century.

One of the cores of conservatism is to attack and villainies the person before they can present evidence of guilt that would weaken the father figure image.

Niiice.

I see your point, but, of course, everybody considers their own views a help, and everybody elses a hindrance.

So you want to complain about an activity, then do it yourself. Good job.
