We've seen wild fires in Florida, (home of Jeb Bush and the fixed 2000 election), floods in Texas (home of GHW, Barbara and GW Bush) ........ now we see fires burning out of control in Utah.... home of the Mormons?

Is this a sign from God that that faithful are being led by false prophets? Supporting causes and candidates that are against Gods teachings?

For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.

And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.

And again they said, Alleluia And her smoke rose up for ever and ever.

And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.

No reverend Phelps.

Natural disasters happen all over the world. Anyone with a bias can look at any area that has been struck by natural disaster, and looking through the lens of their own bias, find a "reason" that God is "punishing" someone for some reason.

Whenever I hear about an area afflicted my natural disaster, rather than gloat and look for a "God" given reasons that these people got what they deserved, I look for ways to help. I usually contribute to disaster relief funds.

I hope you asked your question tongue-in-cheek.

BTW, I don't agree with Mormon theology, but all of the Mormons I have ever met, have been the kindest, most polite, and hard working people I have ever met. I would never wish the wrath of God on any of them.

Doubt it. There was a town in Kansas that was wiped out by a tornado and a couple of months later the eastern half was struck with flooding. Two years before that a wild fire burned a lot of crops. Who was to blame for that?

Oh, brother.

The Utah fire was started by lightning....as most fires are.... It is spreading so quickly due to severe dry conditions in the area.....

If there is a "god" he is much too busy to worry about petty in-fighting on a 2nd rate planet in a galaxy on the edge of nowhere.

No. Anybody who invokes God's punishment regarding any natural disaster or man-made catastrophe is a blasphemer, IMO.

They have no right, no authority to be speaking for God.

I don't know. Are the annual fires, floods, and earthquakes in California a sign God hates the left?
