I am quite liberal when listening to other people's opinion and hardly ever get upset when hearing some of the crap you here in the West Of Scotland.
2007 is a new era and people spouting hatred on the streets of London about blowing people up is something else and the above sentence doesn't cover that so unfortunately due to recent times i have to say no.

Sure. It's a fundamental tenet of free speech. Be that as it may, there are limits. Opinions are protected. Slander, Libel, Fraud, perjury are not protected. Truth is protected unless it harms national security.
And one other thing. The first amendment prevents the government from silencing dissent. It does not protect anyone from having their ideas ignored or shouted down in the marketplace. You may have a right to say it, but it does not mean that anyone must hear it.

I believe that!
I think to a lot of people 'freedom of speech' means freedom for people who agree with them. But a free country like ours depends on a 'free marketplace of ideas', so everyone should get a chance to talk, even if I disagree with him.
If someone says something I disagree with, I have the right to disagree. In other words, the remedy for free speech is more free speech.

Sounds good to me. That is one of the foundations of our country. The Constitution guarantees each and every one of us the freedom of speech. I may not agree with what you say, but I would fight for your freedom to say it.
