Is tonight the night the defines BOBBY LASHLEY'S proffessional wrestling career? With the GREAT AMERICAN BASH couple of weeks away, and with his obvious heel turn last monday night.... and now that he's contending and vying to win the most prestige title in sports entertainment. . . . LASHLEY has to step it up, and show us what he's made of.... his mic and acting skills are horrendous... but tonight, what do u expect out of him... is this a significant date in the career of LASHLEY?

I expect no heel turn for Bobby Lashley. I actually see Cena making the heel turn after the Great American Bash.

Lashley spearing John Cena has not changed the direction of his character. On WWE.com, the day after last week's RAW, there was a poll which asked "Who will walk away with the wwe title after the Great American Bash". The results favored Cena (50.57%) to Lashley (49.42%) The poll is still up and the results are more or less split.

Avid WWE fans have been demanding a new champion for the last year and a half. John Cena's repetitive in-ring style and ultimate babyface character has turned true wrestling fans into passionate John Cena haters. Not that Lashley's style is much better, but the demand for a new champ overshadows Lashley's lack of ability.

If you watch the clip of Lashley spearing Cena the crowd's raction is more or less split. Making a Lashey a heel would not change the fact that fan support will be 50/50 for the match. No matter how hard they try to make Lashley a heel, the John Cena haters will favor a new champion.

I don't see Lashley winning the title because his character does not draw ratings, but if WWE goes with it, I can see Cena immediately becoming the heel in the months to follow.

If Cena looses the title, all of his detractors will be louder and more vocal than ever. This could be the set up for one of the biggest heel turns in WWE history. Cena can become the bitter ex-champ who turns on his army of avid fans. Combine that with the fans who already despise him and you have the ultimate heel.

Tonight is a big forward momentum for lashley going into the Great American Bash. If he can pin King Booker it can help prove to everyone that he is at the top of Raw and that Cena's title reign is coming to an end. King Booker has had over 30 title reigns and that's even more than all of the top superstars in the WWE as well as TNA. He may not be the greatest, but he has a record that nobody else has been able to surpass. As far as defining himself I feel he has already done that. He has gotten many people's respect after winning the ECW title two times as well as spearing Cena. I feel that when the Great American Bash comes around it still won't be a defining match, but just another way to propel his career!

lashley is still a face. He speared John Cena as a message to him that he's coming for his title. Lashley will dominate as usual.
