more lochia?

i just got home from my 6 week checkup..although im 8 weeks post-partum. he just checked my cervix. when i went to the bathroom i saw some thick yellowish discharge. what the heck is this?

Likely it is just thick discharge which would indicate that you are not drinking enough water. You need a minimum of 2 liters a day, just for efficient body function, if you are nursing, or stressed you need at least 3 liters. So start drinking a whole lot more water, and that discharge should thin out and become normal.
