I want to know who put the stone in Harry's pocket. He looks at in the mirror, then sees it's in his pocket and pulls it out. But who put it there? And did it say in the book and I just missed it or is it unknown?

The mirror, because all the teachers laid out a challenge to get to the stone, and the mirror was Dumbledore's. A person who would only use the stone for good could get the stone. So Voldemort couldn't get the stone because he was going to use it for the bad. Only Harry oculd because he was getting the stone to get it away from Voldemort and for the good.

I guess that it was magic that put the stone in Harry's pocket. Dumbledore set things up so that only a person who looked in the mirror who didn't want to use the stone, would be able to get the stone.

No one did. Dumbledore at the end of the book explained to Harry that the only reason why he was able to retrieve it from the mirror was because he wanted to use it for the right reason not the wrong. Voldemort wanted to use it to become immortal and Harry wanted to keep it away from him.

Harry did! Remember, the stone could only be retrieved by someone who didn't want to use it! He had looked in the mirror, imagined that he had it, and there it was!

The mirror showed what his hearts biggest desire was and at that time it was getting the stone from Voldemort. Only someone who wanted the stone but wouldn't use it could have gotten it.

Harry did. All he had to do was picture that it was there and there it was. It has something to do with the mirror, but I can't remember what.
