Plan an agenda, set up by priorities, and ask for help. You also need at least 5 min to stop and get your mind off things..
It would also depend on your responsibilities, are they purely work, or do they also include the house? are they financial? Take them all one step at a time. You are only 1 human being, not with superpowers. There is only so much you can do, so set your priorities straight. Put deadlines if you want. Break some chores down into pieces too. If I don't do this, I would go nuts, which I do sometimes. But there is soo much to get done. Need to stop and breath to think, if not they will get to you!!!

Hi there... without going into my current life story, let me say I understand how you feel. I'm sure you have a lot on your plate, and it's tough to prioritize that, let alone make time for yourself.

One thing to try is to step back - literally. Wherever you're at, take a moment for yourself. Even if it's standing in the bathroom or a hallway, and taking some deep breaths, can give you a moment to re-group. Find an activity that is proven for yourself to give you a release. Some people meditate, some vent on the phone to a friend; personally, I go to the gym and zone out on the elliptical.

One more thing: get as much rest as you can. Especially if you're in a new job, going to school, or anywhere a lot of new info is being thrown at you. Sleep is our body's way of recharging the battery. It's also the mind's time to store the day's information into temporary and permanent "files." People who are sleep deprived do not retain information as well, and in sever cases, have similar brain impairment as someone who's drunk.

Hope this helps, and good luck!

I know that sometimes getting organized is very difficult when you have so many responsiblities that tend to overwhelm you.. Make a list of things that you tend to feel overly exhausted by. If it's bills, make a list of bills from the lowest to the highest, make the ones that are the most important of that list, then knock out the littlest amounts to relieve pressure. Another way and if you have time, set out 30 minutes or 15 minutes of meditation or deep breathing to relax you so you can have a clear head. This has worked out for me. You might another method that will work for you. Life is too short to stress. I've myself have come to realize that. Take baby steps if needed to. Good luck!

I set aside time on my calendar - a date with myself. When friends and family ask about making plans on that day, I tell them I already have plans.

You may not be able to get a whole day in. Take small increments of time. Tell yourself you're going to set aside 15 minutes to read a magazine or just sit and do nothing. Set a quiet timer so that you don't keep looking at the clock.

Make lists and organize your time in the most efficient way possible. Remember that you are the number one priority in your life. You can only control yourself and make choices for yourself. Learn to say no.

Some people do yoga on their free-time or just go to a place that makes them peaceful. A few of my friends write and some just take the day off and enjoy themselves.

Sometimes, take days one at a time. Don't stress yourself out, because thats just going to make you overwhelmed. Just breathe, and take some time to yourself, even 5 minutes, just to do something out of the normal.

I know the feeling. I get overwhelmed so easily.
I make a list of all of things that have to be done. Then I order them by importance.
After that I tackle them one at a time.
By the time I am partially down my list I feel better...like I've accomplished something...

do the most important thing that you know if you dont do, will have fatal consequences. Or have someone help you. There should always be time for yourself. If its someones b-day you cant go do...dont go...i know it seems rude but do the things that you know you MUST do. and eliminate other things. Life sucks most of the time, so YOU have to make it fun. good luck and relax!

Take one thing at a time and plan a break every once in a while. You will get burned out otherwise.

If you embrace them you will find peace in performing them. Then catching a break will be your only problem. Good Luck
