The clothes are the same price as other stores. I did not see any difference.

It depends where you live. There's no sales tax on clothes in Minnesota, so that's one thing. But I think the mall is more about having a lot of stores than selling stuff cheap. You'd get better deals at one of the outlet malls that you find all over the place.

I think its a waste of time. I know someone who travelled there on a weekend to go shopping. I thought she would have come back with some items that you wouldn't be able to find back home -- when she paraded her clothes, all I could think of was: "you spent airfare, hotel and the costs for shipping your clothes for that?"
she could have bought the same stuff at the local mall.

no they aren't cheaper. it's the mall of america because it's the biggest and most exciting one, not because they have the biggest discounts. but the trip is definitely worth it. they have a bunch of stuff to do, even when you get tired of shopping.
