In my opinion , Sheehan is crazy and unstable , and I knew that before the left latched on to her and used her for their agenda .
But amongst all that craziness , there is no denying that she was misled and lied to . That's a sad story all on it's own. . .. Taking advantage of a mentally distraught person only for the sole purpose of forwarding the Left-Wing Liberal Democratic agenda .
I get disappointed by notions of my own party sometimes(Immigration) , and I'm wondering how many honest Liberals can admit that not only did your party lie to you , they also used a mentally unstable person to forward their agenda ??
What Do You Think ? And Has That Move Caused You To Question The Very Veracity Of The Current Democratic Party ?

Argle - Do you say outrageously crazy things to get attention ? and then ALWAYS add a left-handed comment designed to diminish the value of a question or it's asker ? Note : We'll still give you attention if you ever decide to post something with respect. Respect - Try it sometime !!

Kerry absolutely used Sheehan in his campaign, but at least she got paid. Does anyone honestly believe this woman traveled all over the country, and to a few places outside the country, without financial support? Kerry found exactly what he wanted an anti-war stooge who had lost a son in the war. Kerry is more pathetic than she is.
The Democratic party is shameless, but there is someone worse: The mainstream media. They followed this woman's every move, broadcast her every word, in the hopes of swaying an election. When the election was over they dropped her as fast as a teenage relationship.

I feel sorry for her, notwithstanding all the damage she tried to inflict. I think she is deeply troubled and easily manipulated. I hope one day she gets the help she needs, and finds peace. I say this not because of her politics, but her seemingly endless need for publicity and self-aggrandizement. I am embarrassed for her, and frightened by the fact that someone can become so twisted and disturbed by grief.
Some will trash the Democrats for not immediately putting us out of Iraq. I give them credit, begrudgingly, for not being foolhardy enough to have done so.
The situation in Iraq is far from perfect. But leaving will make it much, much worse.

As a Republican this is just what we want the far left of the Democratic party challenged in primaries by the radical left of the party. This ties up funds and time they then don't have for the general election besides building up more animosity in their party.

Why do you assume she is crazy and unstable?
She's just plain pissed off and is becoming ever more aware of the fact that while Democrats and Republicans have different social policies they BOTH are a part of the Corporate take over of the U.S. government!!
Perhaps that is why she (wrongly IMO) showed support for Chavez.
At least in that system if you nationalize everything you only have one set of crooks to deal with!!
Basically all that's left to choose between in the U.S. is ...do you want to live in a Socialist country (Democrats) or a Fascist country (Republicans)!!!
Why are we allowing OUR government to use our military to secure Corporate economic advancement and control of the Middle East's resources?
First Afghanistan and then Iraq.
Which country do we invade next to achieve even more security in this advancement?
Why is the White House creating legislation to require Iraq to open up it's oil to fair market development disguised as "Iraq benchmarks"?
This is uncontestable PROOF that this is about oil!!
Why can't Iraq or any other sovereign nation decide for themselves how they control their natural resources???

I never followed her that closely to be honest.. and I think she's just trying to get more attention however she can.. but I admittedly don't know much about her as I haven't done any research for myself.. just what the media shows.. so I don't feel it's fair for me to assess her or the situation.
Other than that.. view the world from our eyes for a second.. if you see things the way we do you see so much corruption and abuse of power coming out of the current administration that it makes the democrats look like saints.. a few discrepancies don't make you doubt a saint... and we don't expect them to be perfect all the time.. just good most of the time.

They've all taken the extra-strength version of kool-aid. It doesn't matter WHAT their party does, they'll be loyal. They can only hope to confuse the few uneducated conservatives that are out there so they'll have majority vote.
Maybe we should find out where they manufactured their kool-aid and give some to our people, it couldn't hurt.

One has to admire Cindy Sheehan for trying. She did what she thought was right. Unfortunately she did not garner the full support one needs to make a major change in policy in Washington. She needs to realize that she tried and failed. Her message, although heare, was not heeded. She is only one of millions of people in the US. Many do not agree with her at all and while others may oppose the war her methods of expressing their disapproval are not of interest to them.
I don't think the party has abandoned her nor have they ever supported her at all or not supported her. She is merely one person with one opinion that had the time and money to camp out in Crawford, Texas and to run around the country stating her opinion. No I don't question the varacity of the Democratic Party. The party is made of many people with varying ideas and degrees of agreement. The Democratic party is and has been for some time the largest and oldest political party in the world.
What lies were told her by the Democratic party? I don't think the party committed to anything specifically for Ms. Sheehan.
Your question is merely an attempt to attack the Democratic party just because of one person and that person's opinion. That is not even a person of VIP status such as one who is elected or anything like that. You, as usual, don't have priorities straight and blow things clear out of proportion.

I don't believe she is mentally disturbed at all, she went to work for Kerry camp within 3 days of her son dieing. She uses her own son death to cry about the war.
How can she as a mother turn her back on all the mothers in Iraq? She is condemning them to the mercy of the terrorist. How do you justify that?
