Because CAROL, someone VIOLATED my quuestions at the weekend. I will keep asking these questions until they stop being VIOLATED. Was it you who VIOLATED the questions CAROL? I am already in a long running discussion with Yahoo regarding the neeed to stop petty, vindictive violating of questions. It is pathetic and is ruining answers.

No he controls her too much, she seems very nervous and at a loss for words on the very rare occasions she speaks, due to a direct question aimed at ther. In the early days it was Kate who made a plea to the "abductor" saying "she's lovely" hmmm strange, last time I answered this Q at the weekend I also added a link to a Q about Swinging, I wont do that again it probably wont help with the violation situation as it is.
Keep on Middenraker, lots do appreciate your Qs which are fair points.

No, but I see nothing unusual or suspicious in a couple in their situation being together as much as possible, especially when facing the kind of stresses and attention imposed by a press conference. Yes, they've invited the attention in order to publicise Madeleine's disappearance but it does not alter the fact that it is stressful.
Gerry might be able to cope on his own while maybe Kate can't do it but there is no basis that I can see for drawing a negative inference from that. My husband is a more poised public speaker than I am but it's just a personality and experience thing.

No what you've said is true at least for all the press conferences I've seen. She looks directly at gerry before answering any questions, it's as if she's asking permission.

I think their other activities may have something to do with it.(think what babysham said!).
Gerry is very manipulative, probably likes to control Kate and his kids.
No doubt Kate has to accept whatever Gerry wants.

Kate lets Gerry do all the talking. He is afraid in case Kate lets something slip about what really happened that night when Madeleine went missing.

I can honestly say I have never seen her speak without Gerry being there. I don't know if I am right it's just my opinion but she seems controlled by him.
I wonder what she would say if she wasn't in his presence.
