u shouldnt generalize because there are exceptions to everything but i think it has to do with diet since eastern europeans eat healthier, no processed foods, alot of fresh stuff, and so on. Another part is they excercise(walk alot) and take care of themselves, not to say that american women dont but 50% of americans are overweight

A lot of Russian women are hot because their genes are not mixed up from too many nationalities...and most of Russian women try to stay in shape. They would never go out in a wrinkled T-shirt and a pair of baggy jeans or without a nice hair-do. A lot of American AND Western European women are overweight because of bad eating habits--the extra effect of living in a rich overdeveloped country. Beatiful Russian women have healthy teeth. Bad teeth and tractor-like bodies --just an evil slander from someone who is too jealous!!! Russian girls foreva!

I'll answer this question as Russian who spent in the US almost a year.
We take care of ourselves more than most of Americans. I go to fitness club 6 times a week, to tanning salon 2 times a week. To do my nails' design once a fortnight. I visit my cosmetologist once a month. I change my hair style once in 3-6 months. And that what most of my girlfriends do.
When I was in the States I was surprised by seeing a lot of girls in a big city with messed hair, no make-up and wearing sportswear. 3 things that normal Russian girl will never do.

Because anything outside of your ordinary life, seems so exotic. American diet is bad and women should avoid it. Just be open minded, you will find every women in every country could be hot.

I would think the distrubtion is about the same - they have a worse diet, but not as many calories. It's harder to get fat when it's difficult to afford to eat enough, let alone eat healthy. There's a lot of American hotties, and the joke about Soviet women used to be that they were built like tractors. So I guess the question is, where are you looking that you think they're all "hot"?
The other thing about Europeans is their bad teeth. (See "Austin Powers" for example.) We take for granted good dental care, braces, etc. in N. America.
Maybe you're just looking at the "I wanna marry an American" web sites. Of course they all look hot, and even a lowly-paid American probably makes 10 times more than the average Russian so no wonder they want you.

I've heard a curious hypothesis on this topic: during the inquisition's times in Western Europe many of good-looking women were burnt and gene pool was spoiled.
