My daughter loves to dance. Are thing such thing as baby or toddler dance/ballet classes?
I live in Albuquerque, but that doesn't matter...i was just wondering in general.

yep, most studios start classes around age 2, sometimes younger if your child has good enough motor skills. those classes are generally called creative movement or something similar and use a lot of games and props to teach children the concepts of colors, following directions, taking turns, performance, confidence, and basic dance technique. They are lots of fun, I have helped to teach many of these classes. Check your phone book and call some local studios, let your daughter try out some classes and see if she likes it!

Yes! There are many, they usually go by the name Pre-Ballet, Creative Movement, or Mommy and Me Dance Class. I dance in MA, but I'm sure any number of dance studios would have toddler dance classes.

That;s great and yes their is dance classes for toddlers. In my hometown they offer inexpensive 8 week session classes for toddlers. They offer ballet, jazzy ballet, tap, and hip hop. Check with your city park for more info. Or check the yellopages for city parks near by and ect.

Yess there are tons at my studio Pure Energy (canada) they invented the creative dance program its for children as young as 18 weeks it teaches them the basics and at the same time they havve funn many other studios are doing it now it is also called discover dance look it upp online at

ya, they do have dance classes for toddlers, at my studio they start at ages 2

Indeed there is! I dance and I wish that my mom would have let me dance when i was a toddler because that wouuld totally help. You should sign her up for one.

yes I am sure there is cause where we live a lady that runs a studio is usually advertising that she takes toddlers so you should check it out . good luck and i hope you find one .
