Not a single season record for home runs they gave up while pitching. I'm talking about home runs that they hit up at bat themselves.

Is it Mike Hampton, with 7HR in 2001?

Wes Farrell of the Cleveland Indians.

Had 21 or more wins four years in a row (1929-32). Pitched a no-hitter over St. Louis Browns at League Park, April 29, 1931. Went 102-62 for Indians and 193-128 in 15 seasons overall. Holds the major-league record for homers hit by a pitcher, 38.

Note, 38 lifetime homers hit by a pitcher; not sure what season record is.

Mike Hampton hit seven for the 2001 Colorado Rockies.

Don Newcombe hit seven for the 1955 Brooklyn Dodgers.

Don Drysdale hit seven for the 1958 and 1965 Los Angeles Dodgers.

But -- our winner -- Jack Stivetts (who was primarily a pitcher, but did play other positions) hit EIGHT for the 1894 Boston Beaneaters (now Braves), as well as seven for the 1890 and 1891 St. Louis Browns (now Cardinals).

I cannot identify any other NL pitcher who has hit eight or seven, but there may have been a few other incidences.

I am pretty sure it is Mike Hampton with 7, but if thats not right then sorry. But I know for a fact that Carlos Zambrano can pass that mark easily.
