DVD player is Panasonic DMREX75 DVD Recorder with HDD and Freeview.

It depends.

If there is a set of outputs on the DVD player that matches an input on the monitor, then yes.

For example, if your DVD player has a VGA output, then that will definitely plug into the VGA input on the monitor.

Or if your monitor has a composite video in, then that will plug into the composite video out of the DVD player.

Unless you have a higher end DVD player, or a higher end monitor I suspect that there will be no common set of connections.

Yes but it will take some messing around with to figure out at the start I done that for my pc now i just plug the dvd or pc wire in the back depending on what i want

if u have got a built in tuner card,then you can surely plug it into the lcd and use it as aTV.
but can u tell me the name and model of your dvd player.

should be able to but ive never heard of a dvd player with a digital tuner in it
