And they call you constantly?

I mean, I watch all these people talking on the cell phone on the street. It's like every other person, you know? And in the stores, the sales clerks are splitting their attention between work and personal calls. Same at the post office... That means that somewhere out in the world is someone willing to take these calls every minute of the night and day...

How did this obsession get started? Isn't there a moment these people want to be alone with their own thoughts? Or is that exactly the problem?

I really do find this all quite strange.

Yes. I have had friends like that and it makes me think they don't have much of a life. What really irritates me is when people take you out on a date and then the phone rings and it seems as though they'd rather be on the phone than with me. I feel like if you ask a person out, you should cut your phone off or on vibrate and only take the call if it is important because that is simply rude.
