I agree that your scenario might happen, though I'm trying to be optimistic when it comes to Harry surviving :-D

But Voldemort will definitely die.

I think Lupin will die, because he was spying on the werewolf community, and Greyback surely would want revenge for Lupin attempting to recruit the werewolves for the Order's side.

I think Slughorn will die, too. As of now, Voldemort probably doesn't know about Harry destroying Horcruxes, and doesn't pose much of a threat as Harry goes to destroy them, but if Voldemort finds out from Slughorn that their conversation about Horcruxes was shared with Harry, then Voldemort might guess that Harry will destroy them, and then Harry would be in much more danger... and Slughorn would be killed for his support of Harry and the Order.

Harry will NOT die and this is not the answer of some stupid fan who secretly wishes Harry a long, prosperous life.
How could Rowling kill the boy who lived to let evil win??
good guys will always triumph over the bad guys!!!
There´s some theory that says Harry himself is a Horcrux and that he will try to kill himself but that Wormtail will save his life tellin him of another way to destroy an Horcrux without destroying the object that holds it. He will do so to repay his debt with him acquired in the third book. Remember Dumbledore tellin Harry that he would someday be glad he saved Peter´s life???
And how did Wormtail know this terrible secret????, the theory says that because we all know that he (Wormtail) isn´t stupid he will somehow manage to eavesdrop Voldemort or sumthing.
I used to think the same thing, thet harry and Voldemort will die but then i read this book and i changed my mind

harry wont die, there's no way that JKR will let the boy who lived die. Why? Because for one, if evil triumphs over good, then there woul not be any takers for the book. And as for the two characters who would die, one of them certainly one isnt snape, as JKR had told that one character had got a reprieve, and two others were to die in place of him. I believe, and so does mugglenet.com, that this is snape.
Of two who might die, i would single out lupin and hagrid. I know its very hard and sad, but they are the only ones who still hold a very important role in the series and they got to go... the last protectors of Harry, apart from his friends and the Order ... very sad indeed .... sob sob .... :-(

Voldemort will die. I also think that Snape, Hagrid, Molly Weasley and Neville are definite candidates.

Snape - there's no other way for him to redeem himself other than to die
possibly in the act of saving Harry - who I dont think will die

I was thinking that it could be Professor Dumbledore, instead of an obvious answer like Harry himself.

It could be Hermione who gets killed off or in fact anyone. I think JK Rowling will kill of someone who isnt obvious. Killing off Harry wont be that surprising will it.
