Yes. You can earn good money if you have a website that has lots of quality content on it or you can even start free blog at Blogger.com.
The way it works is that Google will give you some code to place on your website or if its the blogger blogs they already have the code you just activate it with your adsense account information.
Then Google will run ads on your pages and when people come to your site and click on those ads you will earn money. But becareful, there are rules you must abide by or your account will be banned. Nothing to worry about if you can follow some simple conditions.

You should read among different discutions forums and see wht best suits for you. A few examples of methods for earning money: Pay per view Pay to share Pay for lead Pay for download All you have to do is to search among forums to see what you like most and you can earn good money.

If you have a good, relevant side with lots of quality content, then yes.
I had them on my old site for a year and I earned about $200. It's not an amazing amount of money, but it's much more than it cost to run my site, and it was pretty much free money :)
