that cows emit gases (farts) that harm the environment and add to global warming. would of been a fun lesson!

That asking questions is good and the inquisitive mind is an active mind.Schools in the late 80s and early 90s were so different...and besides,i was from a catholic convent school for 10 years ;-/

I was 14.3/4 when i left school ( now 59 ) i stuttered ..i was 5ft.3 got beaten up after school almost every day ( it seemed ) left home at 16 ish went around the world went to finish schooling at 44. I find that every day i am still learning the world is still teaching me........great isn't it ?...

That school actually matters......Unfortunately in my home, school wasn't a priority therefore I did just enough to get me through. I wish I had I realized what a great learning opportunity I had at my fingertips.....

I wish I had learned money management skills.
When I was in school, no one told us about budgeting and not getting into 'council tax debt', lol.
it wouldve been nice if they had taught us what to look out for when it came to spending money and bills, etc.

Let me answer that question in reverse...The thing I learned in school which turned out to be the MOST valuable was typing (now keyboarding). I cannot even count how many ways that it has helped me in life.

How to use a PC, they were still pretty new in schools when I was there and so I can just about get by on my PC now, but I don't know even a quarter of the things I should know.

French. Now I feel like an ignorant pleb when I go to france and barely speak the language.
Maths as well. It's only now that my daughter needs help with her homework that I realise I'm complete crap at it.

How to manage money and create a budget. Home Ec. taught dumb stuff like how to balance a check book, but they didn't really broach the subject of how stupid it is to get too many credit cards!!
