= (8*16 - 24/8) * 8
= (128 - 3) * 8
= 125 * 8
= 1000

You mean like what are you able to do to eight 8s to get to 1000? i'm unlikely to determine it out yet try squaring them and putting some in parenthasis and stuff that should get your numbers larger

(8 + 8) x 8 x 8 - 8 - 8 - 8 = 1000
