Those seniors were once young and fought in and won a war at a scale we could never imagine that shaped our world today.
It's only one reason but I think it's worth two.

Yes, they are important. First of all, with the cost of health care in this country, even seniors on insurance can end up paying way more than they can afford for medication that they need, visits to specialists that are not approved by the insurance company, etc. Second, many seniors have worked all of their lives and may be unable to work the physically demanding jobs needed to make ends meet. They have worked hard, it is our responsibility to help them now.

Its very important! One reason is that when ppl get older, they cannot do all the things the used to do. They cant get out and work so I believe they need assistance. Secondly, They spend all those years taking care of us, why not give them a little rest and take care of them in the last years of their life. They deserve it! Great question!

WHAT! have you ever spoken to a senior and I mean seriously had a very long in depth conversation ... there is so much to learn from them and that's not just from the extraordinary ones the average senior has insights that takes years to acquire and just a reward for surviving

Do you want to suffer a long horrible painful death or be killed while in great shape at a certain age. Society has values and until we can answer my question, we need programs for seniors.

I believe they are important. For medical purposes and help with good decent housing. are just two reasons.
