yes, I think it is. I love Borat. Sacha Cohen is a funny guy.
I'm also jewish and we need more guys like him, making clean fun of ourselves and exposing the true ignorance and
anti-semitism in the world. Great character!!

Borat is without doubt a very funny movie but i thought they could have cut the gayish hotel scenes that added nothing to the movie and actually kept in the bits like where he goes to get a dog from the kennels & the other cut bits from the interview with them butch women that took offence to him!
p.s : if he does the movie about the gay fashion guy i don't think it will work as good as the borat movie did....

Btw! knocked up & kiss kiss bang bang are not mocumentaries which is what borat is and why its so funny. those other movies are genre comedy & drama's etc.

I can't "diss" the movie because I have not seen it, but then again I don't plan to see it either. Based on the previews, it looks like a really dumb movie. Frankly, I am sick and tired of all the hype. You can't turn on the TV or pick up a magazine without seeing something about "Borat" in it. (rolling eyes) That alone makes me want to avoid this movie like the plague.

Borat was one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. It's right up there with The Jerk.

Far from it. I thought it was funny, and I laughed pretty hard at some parts...But it was all shock-comedy, which is only good for the first and maybe second time you watch it. It was good but something like Old School, Dumb & Dumber or even Office Space was a hundred times better.

It was the first time I saw it in the theater, but the second time I watched it at home on DVD and I didn't laugh as much as the first time.
