Other people seem to adore small children but i just cant stand them. Could this be because I don't want kids or am i just going wrong somewhere?

my mommy says that some women are missing the "mommy gene" you know the one that makes them feel motherly towards all children-sounds like the case here-even though children get on my nerves A LOT I still love them all-dont worry your probably just wired a little more like a man- I have a sister like you, it dont make you a bad person or anything :0)

I dont know. Yeah, i agree that can be annoying but inside of me, i love all little children. I think they are sweet and adorable. Why is it that you cant stand them?
Im sorry, but im not cruel hearted. I have a 4 yera old brother who can really drive you up the wall. He wets the bed, doesnt go to sleep, is noisy when out in public and demands to be brought toys ALL the time, but my parents still love him and so do i. This is what children do, but to say that you completely cant stand them is taking things too far in my opinion.
What about thwne they learn to talk, and make you something special in school that says 'for mommy' or 'for daddy' and they say i love you mommy. Doesnt that melt your heart.
You are looking at the down points of childrem, but you fail to recognise that children have their good sides too. Children that are not disclipned would be very annoying, but there are some children who are very disciplined and are the most sweetest polite children you could ever come across.
I wouldnt change things at all. I wouldnt be able to live without my brother. Despite everything, i still love him as a brother. I think your problem is a deep problem, maybe because you have no maternal instincts and dont want children.
I love holding babies too and cooing over them.

Gah, children. They're fine...in moderation. Once you get past the initial "aww" factor (which for me lasts about...5 minutes) there is very little to them. Don't get me wrong, if I ever have kid's I'll love them to bits, but other people's kid's just get tedius after a short while.
It's hard work keeping small children ocupied and there's only so many times you can pretend to be interested in bits of fluff they hand to you for you to give back to them.
Not liking kids doesn't nessessarily (I mauled that spelling) mean you don't want them in the future. Who's to know how you feel if the little monster was actually your own flesh and blood.

I find a good number of them annoying, but upon further examination, it's because the PARENTS are raising them with no boundaries and no rules.
Those kids, I can't stand. Otherwise, I'm every kids favorite play buddy. Give me any three objects and I'll invent a game that'll keep a 3 year old engaged for an hour.

Do you fond them annoying all the time or just when they are crying and screaming and acting like spoiled brats? If that's the case, no , you're perfectly normal. If you just look at a small child and find him or her annoying for no other reason other than they are a child, then it is obviously something deeper. However, I know of a few women that don't want kids becuase they find them "disgusting". So, you're not alone in that aspect.

I think it just has to do with your disinterest in having children.
When I had small children I loved small children. Now that my kids are older I like older children. I don't mind small children, it's just rare for me to go out of my way to try and hold a baby or play with a little child now that my own kids are older. I think it's whatever you relate to.

I know what you mean. I can't stand small kids. Their just so damn loud, ungrateful and annoying. I know they can't help being little kids but seriously I hate it when start crying about this and that when they don't get things they want, the dumb things they can say. I could go on and on.

well little children could be annoying but they r still so cuteeeeeee!! love them haha=PP
and maybe u just see the annoying side of them! open ure eyes dont ya think they r adorable when they smile saying some wired words and holding u ?
play with them they will love it and u'll see that they r not annoying as ya think and it will be fun haha=P

Don't feel badly at all. People (parents) like to you make you feel like the anti-Christ because you don't like their squealing, runny nosed, cookie crumbed face, sticky hands child. "Children are precious." Hmmm.. not so much. I prefer an adult or a pet to children. They're poorly behaved in public (a fault of their parents) and can disrupt a lovely evening. And before anyone asks, yes, I was a child. And I was taught people were out to (eat, see a movie etc...) not to listen to me. It's good advice ...

maybe is that u really dunnoe what the kids one or u dun understand them..maybe u does not have the way of thinking wat they are thinking of..children are annoying cauz they are still small thats is why call children
