Did someone ASK you to send a tape? If they did not request that you send a tape, DO NOT DO so, as it will be put in the trash can. Unsolicited material is NOT appreciated and makes you look unprofessional as you should KNOW better than to send unsolicited material.

Never send anything, to anyone in the entertainment industry, unless they SPECIFICALLY ask you to send it.

Most industry people do NOT accept unsolicited
(not requested) material and it goes in the trash can, unopened.

I'm going to assume you mean a video tape. If you meant a casette tape, sorry! =/ Make sure the tape isn't fuzzy, and that the sound is very clear. And don't do any weird editing/filming stuff (like changing angles, having you walk around, etc), just keep a steady shot (believe me, I've done some stupid things before). Unless the people you are auditioning for ask for something other than that.

Break a leg!
