B/c men are just as guilty of looking through their mates with rose colored glasses as women. Sometimes that woman knows how to push his buttons. Perhaps that guy sees something in that woman that just attracts him to her (and not necessarily sex, but just "something" about her just makes him drawn to her). Sometimes we as people don't really know that guy. Maybe he can share something with her that he's not willing to share with his friends or family. Perhaps, it's that one thing that he can share with her is important to him and strong enough for him to want to propose. It's not until that reality check that he gets that he realizes that he's with the wrong person (same with women).

Men think with their sex organ sometimes and not with their heads. If a man marries a woman he can talk to for hours without getting bored, shares his religion and faith, shares his morals and values and life's goals, he will be happier....no matter what her body and face are like. But most men look at the physical appearance first and forget that as we age we all look worse, so the other things are actually much more important down the road.

Some men think a woman who gives them non-stop sex before marriage will do the same after marriage. A woman who looks good before marriage will aways have an hour-glass figure, these guys think. They don't consider a woman's other virtues before marriage--her compassion (or lack of) and other attributes that make a woman who she is. She ceases to be his type, after he has married her and she becomes a real person.

I can only speak for myself on this one. I was an absolute idiot. I did not know myself. I was an absolute horn dog and a menace to all of female society. I was averaging two to three women a night. Not taking the time to actually get to know any of those women, I was stupid enough to think that so long as they had all of the right parts and were in working order, the rest would just come naturally. The girl (woman) I married, turned out to be someone who liked having sex once or twice a year. As for me, I (in retrospect) offered nothing that any reasonable woman would want. I was a pig. We were "married" for four years. I never cheated, but she did. I honestly thought that I loved her. Infact, I was in love with being married. I thought that it somehow gave my life meaning.

The same reason some women end up married to a man who is not their type.

They are motivated by their sex drive.. Visual is nice, but over the long haul.. You need to find someone who respects you, some one you can trust and ultimately some one who is willing to go the distance in all areas.., It's not impossible.. If your immature.. then you will have more issues.. Marriage is a commitment.

Because when they were in love ... they didn't see the differences and then when they are tired of the women/men ... all hell broke loose.
