I have rode Harleys for years, I have ran stock seats, Mustang seats Le Pera seats and am now running Corbin. The only complaint with the Corbin was the cost, it is by far the most comfortable seat I have rode on. After about 500 miles the rest felt like you were sitting on the fender. Soon I am buying a new Road King, it will have a Corbin saddle before it leaves the dealer even with the high cost.

I've had the dual tourer on my VTX1800S for a few years now, and I love it. Way better than stock. But there are plenty others out there that you can say that about. Corbin is great if you don't want to settle for a black leather seat that looks exactly like everyone else, because you can mix and match the seating surfaces, piping, and sides for both texture and color, leather or vinyl. If you are going for the plain jane - I don't think you'll be happy.
If you don't like a firm seat - then move on. Corbins are firm and take 1000+ miles to break into you.
Personally, if these guys were around, I would buy a seat from them:

They have almost as much customization ability - you can get gel, too - for a MUCH nicer price. Check them out!

Yes I have a Corbin seat on my VTX 1300R (2006)Personally I have no problem with it and have grown to like it ,fits the bike and gives it a Nice touch ,But My wife Hates it and can only take at the max 50miles even with a gel seat attached before she needs a rest , I have gone over 100 miles none stop and was comfortable enough ,but lets face it sitting on ones a*s*s for any long lenght of time your going to have to take a butt break ,Got mine off Graigs list for 200 bucks ,if I had paid the 600 bucks for a New one I probably would wish I gotten something else ,But the Choice is Yours . /Peace

I've had the displeasure of having a Corbin on my own ride, as well as riding as a passenger.
Granted, I generally ride a different make of bike, but seats are made pretty much the same.
I've been riding with a LePera for about five years & love it. My husband has a Saddleman that he really likes.
Hope this helps.

I have one on my DR650. It's a decent midrange saddle IMO, but nowhere near a Russell or similar, although the Corbin is just over half the price I paid for a Russell for my last bike.
Worth the hype? My verdict is no.

Worth the hype - no
Do you ride long trips?
This is one of the most comfortabe seats you can own.
But it is not worth the price for a simple leather seat.
Maybe if it was hand tooled leather then I could see the price but not like that.

For my money I'd forego a Corbin seat and buy a Mustang seat. I've ridden a bike identical to mine with a Corbin and another one with the Mustang...I bought the Mustang.

I have had 3 "second look" seat's and they other than looks appear the same as factory. I have ridden several "Corbin' seats and noted the exact same thing.
