i have just the right one...its a website called jamglue.com..there is no software to be downloaded and its free to use...all you have to do is just type in the song or artist that you are looking for and click on it and u can download it...the great thing about it is that no viruses i use it a lot

How about Azureus.
It involves torrent files...but its easy!
First google "Azureus" --- go to site. Dowload the software 2.5 or 3 (which ever you like better). But i've got 2.5 (classic) Install it!
Then.. go to "www.isohunt.com" (this is a site where u can download torrent files)
In the search engine type whatever u wanna download... and then just select the files that come up. Make sure u make a folder in my documents.. somethin like "Azureus Torrents" to save all these small torrent files.
When u got the files you wanna download... load the Azureus program and then add the files from that folder and they will start downloading! (since u know how to use limewire, u know u have to create a folder for the completed files)
Azureus is really good.. it may look confusing with words like "peers" "seeds" etc, but just ignore them for now. Its better than other programs cause there are alot of clients you can download from at really high speeds simultaneouly!

Utorrent definately, much faster if set up correctly. Make sure and use the help page to set it up, also use a good site to download from, demonoid is good, you do need to register, and they arent open for registeration that often so you need to keep checking the site. Much safer to use than a lot of others.
p.s you maybe able to get an invite from someone for demonoid if you ask.

limewire etc can have bad files,better to go for torrents

Bit Torrent.
You'll need a client for example uTorrent:
www.utorrent.com
And to find files you'll need a torrent search engine for example:
www.torrentspy.com
www.mininova.com
Or if you can find a private torrent tracker these are even better. Ask google for one of those.

Buying the songs/videos from a shop.
No viruses, no waiting for it to download and 100% safe.
Oh and the artist gets a royalty as well and the film /record company does not go out of business.

Just don't use P2P file sharing programmes. They are all dodgy. What are you trying to do ? If you are copying and downloading use legitimate sites.
