It depends on what kinds of auditions you're looking for and where you're located. Theatre is a lot easier to audition for without an agent than film and tv. If you're in New York or LA, you can subscribe to Backstage and receive audition listings that way, if you're in Chicago the trade paper is called PerformInk. Most other smaller cities that have acting opportunties have an email list or online bulletin board for local opportunties, like Philadelphia, etc. Try googling "auditions list Newark, Delaware" or whatever your city is and see what comes up. If it's commercials and film you want to audition for, you pretty much need to work through a reputable agent, one who will not charge you up front to work with you (VERY IMPORTANT.) A good agent will work with you to try and send you out for work that you have a good chance of getting, since they only get paid once you get paid. Be aware that there are a lot of scams preying on hopeful artists and you should never have to pay for anything in order to perform. Ask questions and stay alert as you get more into it. Good luck!

it incredibly is complicated to get solid in those issues in case you haven't any previous adventure. attempt doing some auditions at community theaters to get you began, and then bypass to larger issues like television and stuff. yet incredibly, it relies upon the place you reside. In l. a., it incredibly is a lot much less annoying to discover auditions then in a small city some the place.
