Smelling good is a big factor, but actually cleaning the clothes counts more.

We like Arm and Hammer, it is not as much as other name brands and works just as well. Also please remember that powder cleans better than liquid.

I perfer Tide Original Scent. It is not too overpowering but has a nice fresh just cleaned smell that lasts on clothes. Also, it cuts grime and gets out stains if used properly. My husband has sensitive skin and has no problems using this product.

Arm and Hammer works great on getting smells out, has a wonderful fragrant, and is cheaper than most brands.
Been using it for 6yrs now.
Cleans wonderful too.
Key is, do not overload your washer!
If you have a top load washer, your clothes need to be able to circulate all the way to the bottom.
Yes, powder does work better.
