K+ At least someone here realizes the reality of things. I have never cheated on anyone, even though someone cheated on me. However, it is becoming hard and hard to stop myself as things in my married life are not good and not getting better. I have tried to see the positive changes and the efforts my wife has been making, but they don't seem real. They feel fake and like they are only being done to prevent herself from having to survive on her own. I want to be wanted, I want to feel like the other person is enjoying it, I want to feel desire, I want the other person to want to please me not just passify me. None of this is happening at home...in or out of the bedroom. And talking is not an option as it only results in a fight and her turning what I say around and using it to attack me. I am glad to see someone understands. Thank you.

Getting married doesn't erase your innate attraction to people... you will always find others interesting and tempting... but the institution of marriage is about a commitment between two people to work, love, and live life together... no one plans on a divorce or unfaithfulness when they get married, but they do ( or they should) respect the commitment with themselves and their partner when they do get married.

human beings are naturally idealistic, so no one ever thinks while walking down the isle, "Ghees I hope this is over soon I've got a date waiting in the car" So you're right no one ever plans on cheating.

stop trying to ease your guilty mind. love is a conscious decision you make every second of every day. if you CHOOSE to love, you'll never cheat.

It's probably the only excuse they can come up with for being a R-A-T.
