Foo's any day. Nirvana were the most overrated band EVER and if Kurt hadn't blown his brain out he wouldn't have been the "icon" he is now. Dave Grohl however would have left Nirvana and become a mega star all without inflicting any injuries upon himself! He is much more musically talented than Cobain and deserves the stardom he has achieved.

Of course Nirvana, without dave grohl joining the band in 1990, he wouldnt have even formed foo fighters in 1995, and for that matter he wouldnt be as known.
Plus Nirvana is ten times better than foo fighters although foo fighters are quite good

Nirvana beats Foo fighters in every category. They were much better musicians, KURT COBAIN was a lyrical genius and awesome in general. They revolutionized the underground grunge band scene which eventually faded the day that Cobain was announced dead. That scene was transformed into a more pop-punk-rock sounds. IF it wasn't for Nirvana you people wouldn't have Fall out boy, Panic! at the Disco, and other bands that love to sing about their feelings in a really pop way.. Nirvana -----Geniuses.
