I would say old age would kick in after 60.

I don't think that is really used as a cause of death anymore. No matter how old you are--there has to be some underlying cause of death--whether it be cancer, heart disease, stroke , and so on. And just you wait--the older you get , the younger those higher years sound. Someone on here said at 60 is old age---haha. I am 52 years young and look younger than I am and feel it--but 60 is sounding younger all the time. I plan on traveling and going out on the town even at 60 --hhahah.
And nowadays, people are living much longer --until early 80s and even longer. I would consider it a blessing to be granted life on this earth that long--as long as you are not suffering or in great pain.

Loved girlnamedmaria's answer to your question as I also plan (with her) to be out and about into my 60's and past as I look and feel pretty good for my age of 53. I have a brother who is 70 and is very active. My Momma is almost 88 and neither acts it or looks it.

Actually there are rare deceases that can cause a child to die of old age. Dying of old age simply means cell degeneration of vital organs.

There is no set age, is it old age or natural causes...because I have seen people die of natural causes and they are like 30 which didn't sound right to me...how is that natural??
