Nope. breast milk changes with baby, and changes with the temperature. Even doctors will tell you that breast feeding is best.

There are thousands of medical reports out in the world for you to acess to prove this. Formula is good enough if you physically cannot breastfeed, although it is nothing like breast milk.

At 5 days old, honey you still can breastfeed, even if you are 15. Bring your baby close to your chest and get started, it is worth it.

No, not exactly.

I'm sure you'll get lots of opinions on what formulas worked best for their children. But scientists have not yet identified EVERY ingredient in breastmilk. And the live antibodies and environmental changes that occurr in a woman's body can never be reproduced in powder form.

here are some things in formula, not in breastmilk that may be of concern:

The closest formula to breast milk is any kind you can find with DHA/ARA because these are nutrients found in the breast milk that support brain and eye development and now it is added into formula. But other than this all formula is pretty much the same. Breast milk has a tendency to change, because it's based on what you consume.

no formula is exactly like breast milk. They are very similar but not the same. Breast milk has immune defenses for your baby very important in the 1sts months. You can always breastfeed and then start complementing your baby's feedings with formula. I breastfed exclusively until she was 3 months old. Then started introducing formula gradually in order to wean her. I had to to this because I was going to work again (full time) and even tough I pumped it's not the same and my milk production decreased.

In a word "no".

There are over a 100 components in breastmilk formula companies are unable to replicate and they find new components all the time.

In fact formula companies are now banned from using language such as "closer to breastmilk" as it is such an unsubstantiated claim.

I think that you should still try I was 17 when I had my daughter and I know how hard it is to take care of a baby and how expensive it is you should try to breast feed it will save you tons of money in the long run and its so much better for the baby.

No, not even close. There are some components of breast milk that are ONLY found in breast milk, nowhere else, and cannot be replicated in a laboratory.

All formula is made from either dehydrated cows milk or soy milk, so it just can't be anywhere near as good as breast milk.

Well they say there is nothing as good as breast milk. I tried the breast feeding but my baby did not take. I have had all my children on Enfamil with iron. Never had colic not many belly achs, all my children have had very healthy childhoods. I am now preg with my 4th and will use enfamil again.

Good Luck

No, there isn't. Actually, after breast feeding my sons for a few months they couldn't keep formula down...I gave them goat milk....vomiting stopped.
