My wife and were married a year ago and we are now separated for a month now, I was the one who left, only because she had nowhere else to go. We had a hard time with communication and bad rumors, it drove us to arguments all the time, I thought it was best for us to have a break. We are now communicating, I do things for her, and I have told her that I am ready to come home and that I love her very much, all she will say is I don't know. How should I respond to this

File for divorce. That should get her attention.

Face it Sonny, it's over. For whatever reasons that drove you apart, consider your marriage over. And with each passing day - it's "over-er and over-er."

For her, it's a control issue. She likes "keeping you on the hook, but not reeling in the fish," as it were. That's mean on her part - foolish on yours.

Stop talking to her and stop doing things for her. Get a lawyer and file for divorce. Move on.

Do not offer her an ultimatum. You already told her you wanted to return - but she's waffling. That means "I don't want you to return."

OH, that will get her attention, by the way. But don't for a minute listen to her when she cries and begs you to come back. She likes being alone - so leave her alone. It's what she wants.

Make it stick.

It is hard for a woman when the man that promised to take care of her for better OR worse walks out. I am not saying that you walked out or that it was your fault but you left when you should have stayed and worked things out. So she is just hurt and looking out for herself.

give her some time by herself. Everyone needs some time and space to understand situations and exactly what they need.
