itis ridiculous to say you cannot post this question and be happily married i.e. to a post below, Let me rephrase this better,, I am actually asking people to recount a memorable moment or moments in their marriage ( maybe every day is a memorable moment for that matter!)

I've been married 11 years and we are still very happy. We still hold hands in the car and snuggle while watching TV. We IM each other at work through out the day and still gossip about our friends. There was a 'bump in the road' about 6 months ago but we were able to get to the root of the issue before anything got out of hand because we both respect and love each other and have learned to communicate beyond that of which we think our spouse would like to hear. We tell it like it is and that makes us a stronger couple. Many of our friends have married and divorced and it makes us sad and each time we sit and re-evaluate our relationship. Is there anything we need, want, and we try to make sure we are fulfilling each others needs. I look forward to many many more years with my man. And for those who are wondering, yes we have kids AND my mother lives with us too!! But we make time for us everyday and that's what keeps us strong.

First of all, why would happily married people post up questions. More questions come up when one is concerned, confused or unhappy. There are probably alot more reasons to post but more questions pop up when one is most unhappy. I am happily married for 3 years, been with my wife for 5 years and have child. I would only post a question for someone else's opinion. At the rate of divorce at 50%, I am pretty sure that there will be more questions asked by a divorced person that a married person.

You can't condense 18 years of happy marriage into moments, memories and thoughts. It's my existence.
But by the way, the reason there aren't many happy marriage questions is because - being happily married isn't a problem!

You sparked an interesting thought. Remember a few years back a newspaper was started that was only going to print good news; it went bankrupt six months later. Good news is boring, boring, boring. We live the mundane and boring; people want to read about and experience something exciting, like trouble.

The happy couples are busy these days with each other's company.
The divorced &/or unhappy people are lingering inside & on the computer.

I would but we have been arguing so not overly "happy" this morning.
Normally I could list a million and one things that keep me happy, but you know how marriage is, you have your ups and your downs. Not every day is perfect, but every day is a learning experience
