If you're looking for the average time it takes earth to orbit the sun once, then looking up 'solar year' in wikipedia should help.
To quote:
astronomers defined a mean tropical year, that is an average over all points on the ecliptic; it has a length of about 365.24219 SI days.
SI days is the day as unit of time defined by 'metric system' = 86,400 SI seconds
So - one mean solar (or tropical) year is 365 days , 5 hours, 48 minutes and 45.2 seconds

There are about 365 days and 6 hours per year. Over 4 years (4(6)) it adds an extra 24 hour so therefore we have 366 days and it is a leap year which is feb 29th. 365.25 is also correct (just another way of writing it)

The Year has multiple nature similar to light.
It all depends to which personality of the year you are addressing to;there are about 7 description of what is a year; and time period of the earth around the sun is considered the official year. However due to the decrease of sun's mass with time and the increase of the Earths mass due to incoming mass radiation absorption by the earth,the lenght of a year continually increases.That means next year the year will be longer than this year.
And if you apply relativity to time then the "second "becomes meaningless and undefined.

It depends on what kind of "year" you mean.
The time it takes to complete one cycle of seasons is the Tropical Year. Year 2000 was 365.242190419 days long, although this varies slightly from year to year.
This is slightly different than the time it takes the Earth to orbit exactly once, because of the precession of the equinoxes. The exact orbital year is called the Sidereal Year and is 365.25636042 days long.
There are other years as well, but these two are the most commonly referred to.
