I don't know if it is better overall but they did bring us pasta which they stole from the Chinese and pizza which they stole from India(flatbread). So, I guess organized crime is just a deep seated part of the culture.

Well,I myself am 1/2 Italian and 1/2 German. So I am not half bad.

I do not typify nor represent personally, the "impression" that male Italians in general exude..namely..being loud, arrogant and angry or egotistical...and certainly have no ties with the MOB.

I suppose any given of peoples must bear a negatively percieved notion of masses due to a few that misprepresent the whole. By the way...you talkin' to me..I'll break your kneecaps. LOL just kiddin' I am just a very silly Italian.

SHeesh...I guess everyone is too afraid to answer this question.

The large majority of Italians who have immigrated to America (99.99%) are solid, hardworking, law abiding citizens. They are just like any other ethinic group, people see the few bad apples and assume that all the rest are just like that.

People tend to over look the lawyers, judges, politicians, policemen, doctors, architects, tradesmen, and other professional Italian Americans who have made such positive contributions to this society. A Lot of the construction workers who built America in the early going were Italian Americans.

The majority of people in any ethnic group are good people. Try to see the good and not the bad only.
