Its pretty normal to start dialating by 36 weeks. Remember your considered full term 38-40 weeks. Also you can be dialated at 1 for a few weeks so its nothing to worry about.
Enjoy the end of your pregnancy!

37 weeks is still considered Full Term so it is normal for that. If you were only like 33 weeks then yeah that would be a problem. They usually say 40 weeks is full term. But no one can tell you the baby is ready but the baby. I was 37 weeks and I started cramping real bad I went to the Hospital and 2 days later he came out. No inducing needed. :) So it is OK if there was a real problem then your doctor would say something. All I am saying is do not be surprised if the baby comes in the next week or two. Good Luck!

I was dilated to a 4 for about 6 weeks before I gave birth. At 36 weeks your baby shoudl be healthy enough that if you do go into labor he/she should be fine. I would try to rest as much as possible and stay off my feet. though because holding off to 40 weeks is most always best. I assume you have been to a dr if you know you are 50% effaced adn dilated. What did the dr tell you?

The secure zone isn't 36 weeks, The secure zone is whilst your seen comprehensive term it incredibly is on the tip of the thirty seventh week. So incredibly i does not have her take castor oil at 36 weeks in basic terms via fact she is uncomfortable! I advise i'm uncomfortable in spite of the incontrovertible fact that it does no longer advise Im going to attempt to set off exertions. the child will come whilst he/she is in a position to return, i comprehend it sucks yet daily the child is interior the womb the extra beneficial it incredibly is for the child. i'd in basic terms have her wait it out, She could end being egocentric needless to say her physique is already engaged on getting the child out so in basic terms enable her physique do her own situation. there's no element in dashing it till you have already reached your due date.

Yes, its perfectly normal. You are already considered full term. My best friend starting dialting at 35 weeks and delivered last week, at 37 weeks. You could go into labor at any time or you could last even past your due date. But probably sooner than later. Good luck!!

This is something you really need to discuss with your OBGYN.
Is she concerned? Are you healthy? Blood pressure ok? Sugar under control? Ultrasounds show Baby is fine and of good weight? No complications etc.?
I wouldn't be terribly concerned if your MD feels things are fine.
Hope you have a healthy/happy
